About Jonna Nevins:

I started my career as a marketing specialist for a medical institution, where I honed my client relations skills through extensive travel and engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders. Following this, I transitioned to a role with a federal government contractor, managing complex logistics for various Federal agencies and the U.S. military. In 2018, I was honored to be recruited by the FBI as a candidate but chose to pursue my passion for technology without relocating.

Driven by a deep interest in technology and a commitment to continuous learning, I began studying programming and related fields early in my career. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I seized the opportunity to advance my skills by earning multiple cloud and cybersecurity certifications through self-paced online learning. This dedication to professional growth enabled me to successfully pivot my career in 2021 to become an IT System Administrator.

In 2022, I joined Cyderes as a Telemetry Engineer, where I quickly demonstrated a strong aptitude for automation and programming. My contributions to several key projects led to my promotion to Cloud DevOps Engineer in 2023. I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and operational efficiency, and I look forward to sharing insights from my journey and expertise with the community.
